Add google maps to your website
Including an interactive Google map on your website provides extra functionality ... but more importantly there is an association with Google which is worth much more than any static map.
Google maps are very interactive!
If you want to include additional content to your location map, then a Google map is the perfect option. Google Maps allow you to create driving directions. A map can provide your visitors with step-by-step directions to your destination, along with an estimate of the time required to reach you and the distance between the two locations.

Google Maps include a map that can be navigated by dragging the mouse, or zooming in using the mouse wheel (mouse wheel up) or out (mouse wheel down) to show detailed street information. The user can also control the map with the arrow keys to move to the desired location. To allow for quick movement, the "+" and "-" keys can be used to control the zoom level. Visitors to your site can enter an address, intersection or general area to quickly find it on the map.
Google Maps offers three viewing modes by default: Map (Street map views), Satellite (satellite and high-resolution aerial photographs) and Hybrid (Street maps overlaid on satellite and high-resolution aerial photographs).
Google maps provide an API that allow you to add additional markers and directions. To embed a Google Map you require a key available from Google APIs, each key is valid for only one web site.

Your visitors need to locate where you are in relation to major landmarks, and where’s the best place to park. By focusing on key bits of information and removing irrelevant detail, you are enabling the user to orientate faster and hopefully reduce any frustration trying to locate your office or store.
